Join Us for a Special Day! On Sunday, August 18th, when St. Christopher families celebrate Godparents Sunday alongside their Godchildren at our Blessing of the New Religious Education Year

All families are invited to bring their own bag lunch as we gather to listen to the travel adventures and colorful stories from six travel enthusiasts in our parish! They have volunteered to share memorable insights, from the bustling streets of Barcelona to the serene beaches of Florida.

This is the last Saturday of the Souls for this calendar year. Please join us as we remember the righteous who have reposed in the Lord.

On May 27th, Memorial Day, we offer tribute to the courageous individuals who gave their lives to defend our nation and uphold its values. Let us take a moment to celebrate patriotism, unity, and gratitude and remind our families and friends that freedom is not free.

Youth and adults of St. Christopher Church are invited to a unique outing at the Diakonia Retreat Center in Salem, SC, beginning on Tuesday, June 18, 2:00 p.m. and ending Wednesday, June 19, at 2:00 p.m. Registration is open and you and your family are encouraged to register today.

Christ is Risen! Fr. George commends our parishioners for attending Sunday's Mother's Day Divine Liturgy and Luncheon in honor of our mothers. Special thanks to Bill Wiley, Luncheon Chair and all those who donated food and drinks, helped set up and clean up, and everyone who stayed to share fellowship and great food. Mothers were presented with a special gift from Fr. George along with roses and chocolates from the Parish Council. We thank Presbytera Marinda for making the five loaves used in the Artoklasia Service which were served as bread for our luncheon. What a blessing to share our April and May special commemorations on Mother's Day Sunday with the Blessing of the Five Loaves. May the memory of our mothers who have fallen asleep in the Lord be eternal. Fr. George and Isabelle thank the parish family for their gifts and birthday cake. Thank you again, everyone. We praise and thank our Risen Lord for blessing us so richly on Sunday, May 12th.

Katie Wilson, Central District Oratorical Festival announced that 20 speakers from 8 of the 10 district parishes shared outstanding presentations on Saturday, April 20th at St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church in Peachtree City, GA. It is the third consecutive year that the parish has hosted the district festival. This year set a new record number for the number of parishes and student presenters participating. Congratulations to all our speakers and prayers for safe travels and success for our finalists advancing to the Metropolis Festival at St. Katherine's Church in West Palm Beach, FL, May 10-12, 2024.

Weekly Resources for Lenten Journey

During our upcoming Lenten Wednesdays that begin March 20th, we will offer the 9th Hour Service at 8:00 a.m., followed by the Presanctifiec Liturgy at 8:20 a.m., with the aim of finishing close to 9:30 a.m. for those who need to depart for work. For everyone else, Fr. George is offering a "Lenten Renewal Series" that includes a special textbook aimed at reminding us that God never abandons His people.
