George invites parishioners to set aside the first Sunday of every month to come forth, if they wish, to share their special commemorations that will occur during that month (e.g., birthday, Name Day, anniversary, or any other special event in which you wish to make a monetary donation).

Our previous Metropolis Chancellor, the Very Rev. Fr. Petros Kopsahilis, fell asleep in the Lord on 10/19 and his funeral at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Tarpon Springs, Florida , prevents Fr. George from offering services on this Feast Day and anniversary of our first parish Divine Liturgy on 10/26/03. May Fr. Petros' memory be eternal. May God bless our parish family for many more years.

With the summer heat making the Altar unbearable, Fr. George made a temporary Holy Table in the Solea so parishioners could witness the Divine Liturgy up close. He also offered a demonstration Proskomide Service with a side table serving as a temporary Prothesis. He will continue to offer the demonstration liturgy until the church air conditioner can be replaced.

Fr. George & Presbytera Marinda prepared the Kolyva for the One Year Memorial of Charlie Masterpolis of blessed memory. Through his generous support of our parish, we received our blessed namesake, St. Christopher, in memory of his beloved father. May Charlie's memory be eternal.
