Fr. George & Presbytera Marinda prepared the Kolyva for the One Year Memorial of Charlie Masterpolis of blessed memory. Through his generous support of our parish, we received our blessed namesake, St. Christopher, in memory of his beloved father. May Charlie's memory be eternal.

On Saturday, July 14th, our parish invites volunteers to help prep the area our new outdoor play set will be installed. We hope to have it finished by early August.

Fr. George offered the Feast of the Holy Apostles Orthros & Divine Liturgy on Thursday evening, June 28th. Parishioners participated in his sermon and afterwards, we thanked God for the 38 years of blessed marriage for Fr. George & Presbytera Marinda and the one year wedding anniversary for Peter & Julie Poulos, who became grandparents for the 11th time today. Na Zisoun!

This was a fun and enjoyable opportunity for our parishioners, their family and their friends to learn about this year's theme – God Loves You! Youth were paired up with adults to explore God’s love for us throughout His creation, in our families and parish, throughout the Old and New Testaments, and in our everyday life.

Following church services on Sunday, June 10th, the Building Fundraising Chairman and Parish Council members updated parishioners on the status of their frundraising efforts. To enable more time to reach our goal of 100 percent participation of our parish families, the Fundraising Committee is extending its campaign through Sunday, July 15th. The General Parish Assembly will meet on that day to consider and vote on the next steps of our goal to fund Phase One of our Building Program.

In this celebration, then, we reverently honour and call blessed all the Righteous, the Prophets, Apostles, Martyrs, Confessors, Shepherds, Teachers, and Holy Monastics, both men and women alike, known and unknown, who have been added to the choirs of the Saints...

Parishioners offered baby presents and cards to the expectant parents living in Maine via "Skype" communication, aided by the mother's parents. What a wonderful exchange of friendship, love, and prayers for our former parishioner. May God bless the parents and new baby always.
