Our Fall Bake Sale Orders have been delivered. Thank you to our faithful patrons who bought items whose net proceeds will be used to assist the charities we support locally and nationally.

Catholic and Orthodox Clergy and Laity met together at Christ the King Cathedral in Atlanta, GA, on October 23rd.

Join us for a special hands-on Christmas Project at our next Philoptochos General Meeting on Sunday, November 18th.

Knowing that our Orthodox tradition encourages us to offer the Blessing of the Five Loaves, Oil, Wheat & Wine when we wish to give thanksgiving to God for His gifts, Fr. George invites parishioners to set aside the first Sunday of every month to come forth, if they wish, to share their special commemorations that will occur during that month (e.g., birthday, Name Day, anniversary, or any other special event in which you wish to make a monetary donation).

Our previous Metropolis Chancellor, the Very Rev. Fr. Petros Kopsahilis, fell asleep in the Lord on 10/19 and his funeral at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Tarpon Springs, Florida , prevents Fr. George from offering services on this Feast Day and anniversary of our first parish Divine Liturgy on 10/26/03. May Fr. Petros' memory be eternal. May God bless our parish family for many more years.

All parishioners are encouraged to help make 150 dozen Tiropites for our annual bake sale. The batter will be prepared on Thursday, October 18, at 10:00 a.m. and the Tiropites will be rolled on Saturday, October 20, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

All parishioners are encouraged to help make 140 dozen Spanakopites for our annual bake sale. The batter will be prepared on Thursday, October 4, at 10:00 a.m. and the Spanakopites will be rolled on Saturday, October 6, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

On Sunday, October 7, at 11:30 a.m., all GreekFest volunteers are invited to join us, including family members or friends who helped us that does not belong to our parish. Please reach out to them and let them know the date and time. Or better yet – invite them to worship with us and then join us in fellowship!

Parishioners are encouraged to read and follow the useful new guidelines whose aim is to ensure our youth safely enjoy our new playground equipment.

Thanks to our parishioners for volunteering two weekends to prepare our spanakopites and tiropites for GreekFest. Presbytera Marinda reports that we have more than enough to greet our guests as they arrive on Saturday evening, September 15.

What a joy for Fr. George & Presbytera Marinda to meet Danielle and Loyd’s newborn in Maine.

With the summer heat making the Altar unbearable, Fr. George made a temporary Holy Table in the Solea so parishioners could witness the Divine Liturgy up close. He also offered a demonstration Proskomide Service with a side table serving as a temporary Prothesis. He will continue to offer the demonstration liturgy until the church air conditioner can be replaced.
